Reading A Map

 

 

A map contains far more information about what is on the ground than an aerial photograph and is an invaluable tool when in the ‘sticks’.

Take good care of your map, keeping it dry and prevent marking the map with a pen which could hide detailed information on the map such as gradients, weymarks et cetera.
