Sample Candidate Reports
Pre-programme Reports
This is a report on each individual candidate with an overview of the participant as a whole. The report highlights the participants strengths and weaknesses and fears from their perspective. It also gives us an idea of physical fitness and ability and goes along way to deciding the level of 'edge' for the individual concerned and the group as a whole. This decision is key as it determines the site that we will use for the duration of the programme.
Programme Reports
This is an amalgamation of all the instructors observations and comments for every practical exercise conducted during the programme. Note we say "observations". Nomad instructors are not qualified to make academic assessments on programme delegates unless we are teaching practical, outdoor skills i.e. Orienteering, Bushcraft et cetera.
Observations are made as to delegates comments, attitude, role within the group, actions and general outcomes and at the end of each day, the instruction team draws this information together into daily summaries and at the end of the programme these summaries are amalgamated into the programme report for each delegate.
