Bushcraft Bushcraft liberates and empowers. it re-acquaints man with nature and his roots and provides an escape from the shackles of modern life. Bushcraft is about being practical and resourceful. it is not a sentimental retreat into the past, a re-enactment of aboriginal life, or a cult-like spiritual experience. we teach but don't preach. We encourage people to open their eyes and see for themselves, to enjoy their own personal sense of wonder and discovery. we are merely guides, passing on our knowledge. It is our firm belief that wilderness Bushcraft has something of value for everyone; hopefully this is reflected in our programme of educational courses that has evolved over the years we have been operating. At NOMAD, course development is a never-ending process as we endeavour to bring the subject to a wider range of student. Our short 1-3 day courses have been designed for either those with little time to join us or the novice who is not yet sure if Bushcraft is for them. for those of you that like to try something a little more challenging, we offer courses overseas. New courses are constantly being developed to take you to wild places and to true wilderness. Our week-long courses are for those who want to take their skills further, to learn how to live from the land, learn to use the tools of a woodsman and to track, human and animal! These courses are conducted entirely in the outdoors in a friendly campfire atmosphere; however they are sometimes tough and challenging. No whingers please!
